Suzumiya is a place for otaku and discussions of otaku culture, away from unrelated distractions. This site is built with otaku culture in mind first and foremost.
Suzumiya is also built specifically to encourage discussion. "Social media" style features like "likes," "upvotes," etc. are not part of this site because they discourage discussion as a way of interacting with posts.
