Update - 3-21-2026

We're currently experimenting with new systems to make the "user journey" clearer and easier to navigate for new users as we add new features. New users should see new "Welcome" messages that encourage and instruct them on how to become a creator, join circles, etc.

We're also working on making the chapter editing process for light novels clearer and easier to use. Previously, authors had two options for editing the text of their chapters: A lightweight editor on the Work Edit page, and a full-featured editor for individual chapters. This was confusing. We're moving toward only using the full-featured editor so authors have clear, direct, full control over how their work appears. This also make it easier to import work from Microsoft Word, etc., while retaining formatting.
