Update 2-18-2026

We've implemented a system that checks new email registrations against a list of known spam domains to deter spam registrations. Plain users can't generate any content at this point, so there isn't much damage spammers can do currently, but this measure will be useful to have in place as we add more features.

We've also added an events system. This will be useful for side-wide events, challenges, and contests, as well as events such as conventions. Artists will eventually be able to associated their works with the events they were created for, and users will be able to search for works by event.
